WWE is a professional wrestling promotion based in Stamford, Connecticut. Title reigns are either determined by professional wrestling matches or are awarded to a wrestler, as a result of the culmination of various scripted storylines. There are five active singles championships for male wrestlers, two active championships for female wrestlers, and two active tag team championships. Twelve wrestlers hold the championships. The list includes the number of times the wrestler has held the title, the date and location of the win, and a description of the winning bout. The following is correct as of May 14, 2024.

Main roster

At the top of WWE's championship hierarchy are the WWE World Championship on SmackDown and the WWE Universal Championship on Raw. The current WWE World Champion is AJ Styles, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating Dean Ambrose at Backlash on September 11, 2016. The current WWE Universal Champion is Kevin Owens, who is in his first reign. He won the vacant title by defeating Big Cass, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination match on the August 29, 2016, edition of Raw.

Secondary titles in WWE include the WWE Intercontinental Championship for SmackDown and the WWE United States Championship and the WWE Cruiserweight Championship for Raw. The Intercontinental Championship is currently held by The Miz, who is in his sixth reign. He won the title by defeating Dolph Ziggler on the November 15, 2016 episode of SmackDown. The United States Championship is currently held by Roman Reigns, who is in his first reign. He won it by defeating Rusev on September 25, 2016, at Clash of Champions. The Cruiserweight Championship is for wrestlers below the 205 lb (93 kg) weight limit, and is currently held by Brian Kendrick, who is in his first reign. He won the title on October 30, 2016 at Hell in a Cell by defeating T.J. Perkins.

The Raw Women's Championship is currently held by Charlotte Flair, who is in her third reign. She won the title by defeating Sasha Banks on the October 30, 2016 at Hell in a Cell in the first ever female Hell in a Cell match. The inaugural holder of the SmackDown Women's Championship is Becky Lynch, who won the title by defeating Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Natalya, Naomi, and Nikki Bella in a six-pack elimination challenge match at Backlash on September 11, 2016.

The WWE Raw Tag Team Championship is held by The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods), who are in their second reign as a team (record-tying fourth for Kingston and second for Woods and Big E individually) and are the longest reigning champions. They won the championships after Big E and Kingston defeated Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando), The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto and Sin Cara), and defending champions The Prime Time Players (Titus O'Neil and Darren Young) in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match at SummerSlam on August 23, 2015, with Woods also defending via the Freebird Rule. The inaugural holders of the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship are Heath Slater and Rhyno, who defeated The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) in a tournament final at Backlash on September 11, 2016.
