Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Padmapani Acharya. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for October 8

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Parachute Regiment (India), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Congo and Gaza (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:44, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

INRConvert and MOS:COMMONALITY

Hi there, re: this edit you made at MSG: The Warrior Lion Heart, two things:

  1. We no longer use the {{INRConvert}} template in film infoboxes. See this discussion. The template creates problems when, for instance, if we use the template, a 2016 film's 2016 rupees will one day be converted into 2021 US dollars, which means we completely lose any idea of accuracy. There is also no clear reason why we need to convert rupees into US dollars.
  2. Per MOS:COMMONALITY, millions are preferred to crore, because we write for a global readership, not just for Indians. Wikipedia's Indian cinema task force tends to lean toward millions/billions as well. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:23, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Artech Information Systems requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Abhishek0831996. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Information icon Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you recently removed some content from 1989 Bhagalpur violence without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. utcursch | talk 15:39, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 08:48, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Convert template

Please stop using the convert template in film articles. A community consensus was developed some time ago that they should not be used. Please respect that decision. Ravensfire (talk) 13:34, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What was the point of this?

Hi there, what was the point of this? You fixed the incorrect value of the Bollywood Hungama gross estimate, but why did you remove the Indian Express estimate? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:08, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm The Herald. Your recent edit to the page 2011 Census of India appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The reverted edit can be found here. -The Herald (Benison)the joy of the LORDmy strength 18:03, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ayodhya dispute, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 13:42, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Aam Aadmi Party, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. — O Fortuna! Imperatrix mundi. 13:14, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Narendra Modi. You've received a number of warnings for a number of different disruptive tendencies: unsourced content, not leaving edit summaries, and disruptive editing. Please consider this a final warning for all of those issues, since you exhibited all of them in your edits to Narendra Modi. Removing content without explanation is disruptive; editing without edit-summaries is disruptive; and adding content not supported by a source is disruptive. Please stop, or you will be blocked.
