Nomination of List of papabili in the 2013 papal conclave for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article List of papabili in the 2013 papal conclave is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of papabili in the 2013 papal conclave until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Could I view a previously deleted article?
I am requesting to view an article that was previously deleted. The article can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zachary_Ryan_de_Rothschild I would like to view this article, as a person I am close to claimed to have requested the page for deletion as it had content that was frighteningly accurate to him, and I would like to view that information as I feel they may in fact be the same person. Before you assume I'm crazy, I do know this person's name was changed at birth for his personal protection, and the name is similar, and from research I've done on the person, I can't help but conclude they are one in the same. If you would, I would be gracious if you could allow me to view the page.

- (talk page stalker) I picked up on this because I deleted one of the earlier versions of this article, and noticed a reference to it at REFUND. Eternalskeptic67, there is nothing of interest to show, and I think to respect the privacy of the silly child who wrote the articles we should leave them deleted. They were a blatant hoax of a very common type, a 15-year-old making himself out to be a Baron, a "socialite", a philanthropist, and a director of N M Rothschild, de Beers, etc. There were two versions, in 2011 and 2012, with the same name and birth date but completely different accounts of birthplace, nationality, and career.
- FYI, it is by no means the most ambitious Rothschild hoax we have had - there was another "Baron de Rothschild" in 2010 who backed up his story with articles about a family tree of no less than four fictitious Rothschilds plus a company, and off-Wikipedia had set up three websites and a Twitter account. His WP articles only lasted a couple of weeks, and the others were shut down promptly after we drew the real Rothschilds' attention to them. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:36, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in over one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, and that you have not been inactive for a three year period of time). If you remain inactive for a three year period of time, including the present year you have been inactive, you will need to request reinstatement at WP:RFA. This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts.  You are invited to join us for a full Saturday (drop-in any time!) of social Wikipedia editing at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) for our upcoming "WikiArte" Latin America Edit-a-thon, for Wiki Arte y Cultura Latinoamericana, a communal day of creating, updating, improving, and translating Wikipedia articles about Latin American art and culture.
All are invited, with no specialized knowledge of the subject or Wikipedia editing experience required. We will provide training sessions and resources for beginner Wikipedians, WiFi, reference materials, and suggested topics, as well as childcare and refreshments. Please bring your laptop, power cord, and ideas for articles that need to be updated, translated, or created. You are welcome to edit all day or drop by to show your support, and to follow #WikiArte on social media! This month, we will also host a Newcomer's Wiki Workshop for those getting started on the encyclopedia project! We will also include a look at our annual plan and budget ideas, and welcome input from community members on the sorts of projects the chapter should support through both volunteer and budgetary efforts. We welcome the participation of our friends from the Free Culture movement and from educational and cultural institutions interested in developing free knowledge projects. We will also follow up on plans for recent and upcoming editathons, and other outreach activities. After the main meeting, pizza/chicken/vegetables and refreshments and video games in the gallery!

Notification of pending suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in more than one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next month. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e. as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised, that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions, and that you have not been inactive for a three-year period of time). - Thanks for the notification on the desysop. I'm obviously not active on Wikipedia these days and think it's quite reasonable to remove the bit from folks who are not. Were I to jump back into the flow of things I'd likely ask for it back to do some of the (minimal) admin stuff I did in the past, but that day may or may not come (and I'd have a good amount of catch up to do first).
