2003 Little League World Series
Template:Infobox LLWS The 2003 Little League World Series took place between August 15 and August 24 in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The Compton Little League of Compton, California defeated The Asuncion Little League of Asuncion, Paraguay in the championship game of the 57th Little League World Series. The Championship Game pitted 2 pitchers of equal excellence; Nathan Danielson and Marco Salazar. Nathan Danielson kept a perfect game as did Marco Salazar, but in the last inning, Nathan Danielson hit a walk off 1-run homer to win the game.

Qualification
Between five and twelve teams take part in 16 regional qualification tournaments, which vary in format depending on region. In the United States, the qualification tournaments are in the same format as the Little League World Series itself: a round-robin tournament followed by an elimination round to determine the regional champion.
