The 2021 Canadian Census is the next scheduled detailed enumeration of the Canadian population. It follows the Canada 2016 Census, which recorded a population of 35,151,728.[1]

Consultation on census program content commenced on September 11, 2017 and closed on December 8, 2017.[2]
