The 6th Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), honoring the best in primetime television programming from June 1, 2015, until December 31, 2015, will take place on January 17, 2016, at the Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hangar in California. This year will mark the first time the awards will be presented with the movie awards. The ceremony will be simulcast live on A&E and Lifetime.

The nominations were announced on December 14, 2015. ABC, HBO and FX each received 15 nominations. Fox received 12 nominations. Actor and comedian T. J. Miller will host the ceremony.
