Surmaq Rural District (Template:Lang-fa)[3] is in the Central District of Abadeh County, Fars province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 388 in 118 households.[4] There were 761 inhabitants in 250 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 623 in 207 households. The largest of its 42 villages was Amirabad, with 304 people.[2]
