Simakan (Persian: سيمكان, also Romanized as Sīmakān; also known as Sīmākand and Sīmaqān)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Simakan Rural District of the Central District of Bavanat County, Fars province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 410 in 114 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 445 people in 146 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 410 people in 145 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
