Arad District (Persian: بخش ارد) is in Gerash County, Fars province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Arad.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as Arad Rural District of the former Gerash District of Larestan County) was 6,564 in 1,446 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 7,136 people in 1,988 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Gerash County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 7,029 inhabitants in 2,019 households.[2]
