Jowzar Rural District (Persian: دهستان جوزار)[3] is in Jowzar District of Mamasani County, Fars province, Iran.
At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 7,521 in 1,843 households.[4] There were 6,830 inhabitants in 1,966 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,037 in 2,280 households. The largest of its 70 villages was Mehrenjan, with 1,508 people.[2]
In March 2019, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Jowzar District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Pereshkaft Rural District.[6][7]
