Derak Rural District (Template:Lang-fa)[3] is in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Shiraz.
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 126,191 in 32,025 households.[4] There were 23,375 inhabitants in 6,414 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 11,451 in 3,155 households. The largest of its 29 villages was Qalat, with 3,953 people.[2]
