New York's 54th State Senate district is one of 63 districts in the New York State Senate. It has been represented by Republican Senator Pamela Helming since 2017.[3][3]
Geography
District 54 covers several counties in the Finger Lakes region,[4] including all of Seneca and Wayne Counties as well as parts of Cayuga, Monroe, Ontario, and Tompkins Counties.[5]
The district overlaps with U.S. congressional districts 23, 24, 25 and 27, and with New York State Assembly districts 125, 126, 130, 131, 132, and 135.[6]
