Gillam Township is one of thirteen townships in Jasper County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 640 and it contained 277 housing units.[1]
In 1832, the first permanent white settlement in the area was made in what is now Gilliam Township.[2]
History
Independence Methodist Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.[3]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 38.23 square miles (99.0 km2), all land.[1]
