The 8th Critics' Choice Television Awards, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), honoring the best in primetime television programming from 2017, was held on January 11, 2018 at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Santa Monica, California.[1][2] It was broadcast on The CW and hosted by Olivia Munn.[3]
The nominations were announced on December 6, 2017. Netflix led with 20 nominations, followed by HBO with 15.[4][5]
