New Tinsukia–Bengaluru Weekly Express is a weekly superfast train which connects Tinsukia, the eastern most town of Assam with the South Indian Metropolis Bengaluru. The train has 2 tier, 3 tier and sleeper class coaches.

The train leaves from New Tinsukia (NTSK) on every Friday at 6:30 P.M. and arrives Bengaluru (SBC) every Monday at 11:50 A.M. traversing a distance of 3547.7 kilometres in 65 hours and 20 minutes.[1][2]
Major halts
On its way from Bengaluru to New Tinsukia, the 22501 travels across 36 important stations. Some of them are Katpadi, Perambur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijaywada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Brahmapur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Kharagpur, Howrah, Bolpur, Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri, Siliguri Junction, Alipurduar, New Bongaigaon. On the fourth day, the train arrives at platform no. 1 of the Guwahati Railway Station, Paltan Bazaar, Guwahati at 08:10 am and takes a prolonged 25 minutes halt before proceeding towards New Tinsukia via Dibrugarh, Dimapur at 08:35 am.[3]
The 22502 en route from New Tinsukia to Bengaluru crosses 36 stations on the way. The train enters platform no. 6 of Guwahati Railway Station on the second day at 04:55 am and takes the major halt of 25 minutes following which it resumes its journey at 05:20 am to Bengaluru.[4]
