Vasyl Petiovka (Ukrainian: Васи́ль Васи́льович Петьо́вка, was born on January 30, 1967, Zavydovo Village, Mukachevo Raion, Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian statesman and a politician, a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VIth, VIIth and IXth convocations.[1]

Biograph

Vasyl Petiovka was born on January 30, 1967, in Zavydovo Village, Mukachevo Raion in Zakarpattia Oblast. In 1985 he graduated from Mukachevo cooperative technical school on specialty: stock manager and sales manager of groceries and industrial goods. From 1985 to 1987 he had a compulsory military service. He got education at Mukachevo Technological Institute at the Faculty of Engineering and Economics. In 2006 he graduated from Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University, got a specialty: a specialist in accounting and audit.

Working Activity

Since 1985 Vasyl Vasyliovych worked at Verhniokoropetz consumers enterprise of Mukachevo Region consumer's association. Since 1987 he worked at Mukachevo cooperative technical school, company «Latorytzia», limited liability company «Rei-Promin». Since April, 1997, he worked at limited liability company «Barva», since April,1998, he became the head of the board of directors of limited liability company «Barva». In 2002 he was elected a deputy of Zakarpattia Oblast Council of the IVth convocation. From 2002 to 2003 he became a member of executive Mukachevo City Council of Zakarpattia Oblast. From 2003 to 2007 he took a post of Mukachevo's major. In March 2006 Vasyl Vasyliovych Petiovka became a candidate into people's deputies of Ukraine from Block «Our Ukraine», No. 224 on the list. Since November, 2007, to December 12, 2012, he was a people's deputy of the 6th convocation from block «Our Ukraine — People’s selfdefense», a member of The Verhovna Rada Committee of Ukraine on questions of finances and bank activity. He also became a people's deputy of Ukraine of the 7th convocation since December 12, 2012, according to electoral precinct No. 72 of Zakarpattia Oblast. Since November 27, 2014, is a people's deputy of Ukraine of the VIIIth convocation, a member of deputies’ group "People’s Will".[2] Vasyl Petiovka is a member of the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada on issues of agricultural policy and land matters. He is also a member of interparliament tights with the Korean Republic.[3]
