Kensho Ono (小野 賢章, Ono Kenshō, born October 5, 1989) is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer. His two most well-known characters are Giorno Giovanna, the protagonist in the anime series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and Tetsuya Kuroko, the titular protagonist in the anime series Kuroko's Basketball. He is also known as the Japanese dub voice of Harry Potter in the Harry Potter film series,[1] and as Muromachi Tōji in the Prince of Tennis musical.
Career
Ono became a anime voice actor at the age of 13 with Toshiie to Matsu in 2002.[2]
In February 2014 he launched a singing career with the single "Fantastic Tune".[citation needed] Since then, he has released four singles, two mini albums, and one full album.[citation needed] His fifth solo single "Five Star" was released through Lantis on June 27, 2018,[3] after which he announced a summer tour titled 'Ono Kensho Live Tour 2018'.[4]
Ono was previously represented by Gekidan Himawari; however, he is now represented by Amino Produce.[5]
Personal life
In February 2017, Ono and Kana Hanazawa confirmed that they were dating during a live stream promoting Hanazawa's album release, after Shūkan Bunshun published allegations about their relationship.[6][7][8] On July 8, 2020, they announced that they married.[9]
