France

Austrian-French relations are foreign relations between Austria and France. Both countries have diplomatic relations since the Middle Ages. For historical relations between France and the Habsburg Empire, see French–Habsburg relations.

Austria has an embassy in Paris, a general consulate in Strasbourg and 7 honorary consulates (in Ajaccio, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Papeete and Toulouse). France has an embassy in Vienna and 6 honorary consulates (in Bregenz, Groß Sankt Florian, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz and Salzburg). Both countries are full members of the European Union.
