Dadong District (simplified Chinese: 大东区; traditional Chinese: 大東區; pinyin: Dàdōng qū; lit. 'great east') is one of nine districts of Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province, People's Republic of China, and forms part of the urban core. The district contains 15 subdistricts of the city proper of Shenyang. It borders Shenbei New Area to the north, Dongling to the east, Shenhe to the south, and Huanggu to the west.

When China Northern Airlines existed, its headquarters were on the property of Dong Ta Airport in Dadong District.[3]
