Dhusaripara is a census town in Samserganj CD Block in Jangipur subdivision of Murshidabad district in the state of West Bengal, India.

Geography

Dhusaripara is located at 24°38′N 88°01′E / 24.64°N 88.02°E / 24.64; 88.02.[1]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Dhusaripara had a population of 12,117. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Dhusaripara has an average literacy rate of 30%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 39% and, female literacy is 21%. In Dhusaripara, 23% of the population is under 6 years of age.
