Durganagar is a neighbourhood of Kolkata in the North Dumdum municipality area, in the Kolkata district in the state of West Bengal, India. It is located in North Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), beside the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at Dum Dum. It is a town in Kolkata, under the developmental jurisdiction of KMDA.

Durganagar railway station is a small railway station in Kolkata District,West Bengal. Its code is DGNR. It serves Dum Dum Cantonment town. The station consists of two platforms. The platform is very not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation.[1]

Durganagar is located on Sealdah–Hasnabad–Bangaon–Ranaghat line of Kolkata Suburban Railway. Link between Dum Dum to Khulna now in Bangladesh, via Bangaon was constructed by Bengal Central Railway Company in 1882–84.[2] The Sealah-Dum Dum-Barasat-Ashok Nagar-Bangaon sector was electrified in 1963–64.[3]
