Ferintosh is a village in central Alberta, Canada located about 38 kilometres (24 mi) south of Camrose, and 102 kilometres (63 mi) southeast of Edmonton. The village is situated on Little Beaver Lake.

The community takes its name from Ferintosh, in Scotland.[3]

Ferintosh is home to several small businesses and provides municipal services, including local fire protection, to its residents. There is a community hall (the Hi-U Seniors Centre) and a high level of volunteerism. Ferintosh is popular with both retirees and young families because of its small size and many recreational opportunities.

In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Village of Ferintosh recorded a population of 202 living in 97 of its 103 total private dwellings, a change of 11.6% from its 2011 population of 181. With a land area of 0.66 km2 (0.25 sq mi), it had a population density of 306.1/km2 (792.7/sq mi) in 2016.[2]

In the 2011 Census, the Village of Ferintosh had a population of 181 living in 85 of its 96 total dwellings, a change of 18.3% from its 2006 population of 153. With a land area of 0.62 km2 (0.24 sq mi), it had a population density of 291.9/km2 (756.1/sq mi) in 2011.[4]

The population of the Village of Ferintosh according to its 2008 municipal census is 193.[5]
