Hindustan is an unincorporated community in Washington Township, Monroe County, Indiana.

History

Hindustan was platted in 1853.[3][4] The community took its name after Hindustan.[5]

Geography

Hindustan is located at 39°18′29″N 86°29′00″W / 39.30806°N 86.48333°W / 39.30806; -86.48333 at an altitude of 271 metres (892 feet)[6] along Old State Road 37 between Chambers Pike and Farr Road. It is within the Morgan Monroe State Forest.
