This is a list of States and Union Territories of India ranked by incidents of Human trafficking as of 2012, and is based on the number of convicted cases. The list is compiled from the 2012 Crime in India Report published by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), Government of India[1]

According to the report,[1] the top three states with highest number of Human trafficking incidents are Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. But these numbers are merely based on the cases registered where as in many states these are not registered and thus the number is less than the actual.
