Islampur Vidhan Sabha constituency (Marathi: इस्लामपूर विधान सभा मतदारसंघ) is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha (legislative assembly) constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India.[1]

Overview

Islampur (constituency number 283) is one of the eight Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in the Sangli district. It comprises parts of the Walwa and Miraj tehsils of this district.[2]

Islampur is part of the Ichalkaranji Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely Shirala in Sangli district and Shahuwadi, Hatkanangale, Ichalkaranji and Shirol in the Kolhapur district.[3]
