JECRC University is a private university[2] located in the city of Jaipur, in Rajasthan in India. The university is located at Sitapura Industrial Area. It is established under the Act No.15/2012 of the Government of Rajasthan, Notification FIL2 (23) Vidhi/2/2012, dated 02/05/2012. Private University Estd. in Rajasthan State by Act No . 15 of year 2012. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.

JECRC University aims at becoming a valuable resource for industry and society through its interventions in creation of research and innovation culture, academic and professional enhancement, cultural enrichment and character building. The vision of the university is to become a renowned centre of higher learning, and work towards academic, professional, cultural and social enrichment of the lives of individuals and communities.

History

The JECRC Foundation was established 17 years ago to promote education in engineering, science, management, pharmacy and pure and applied sciences. The foundation started its journey with the setting up of Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre (JECRC) which is one of the reputed engineering college of Rajasthan. This was the first step and it laid to the setting up of many more colleges like:

  • Uttam Devi Mohan Lal College of Engineering (UDML) situated at Delhi-Jaipur highway
  • Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Applied Sciences (MGIaS)
  • JECRC Business Schools.

Collaboration with University of Alabama The JECRC Foundation collaborates with the University of Alabama, a university of the United States.
