This is a list of Chinese leaders.

In this article, "China" refers to the modern territory controlled by the People's Republic of China (which controls Mainland China), the Republic of China (which controls the island of Taiwan), and the two special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. Both the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China claim to be the legitimate government of all of China. "China" also refers to many ancient states and empires/dynasties that controlled parts of what are now the PRoC and RoC.
