Highest-grossing sports films

The following is a list of highest-grossing sports films of all time. Motor racing is the most frequent sport with 11 films on the list, while Rocky is the most frequent franchise with five films. The most frequent year is 2006, with five films. The films on this list have all had a theatrical run (including re-releases) since 1977. Films that have not played since then do not appear due to ticket price inflation not being considered.
