Michael Ellam
Michael Ellam is a British banker and former civil servant.[1]
A career civil servant, Ellam served as HM Treasury head of policy before becoming Director of Communications at 10 Downing Street under Gordon Brown from 2007 to 2009.[2][3][4] In 2009, he moved to a senior role in HM Treasury, continuing into the premiership of David Cameron.[5][6] He joined HSBC in 2013.[7][8]
