Mukand Ltd (Formerly Mukand Iron & Steel Works Limited) India based manufacturer of stainless steel, alloy steel, stainless steel billets, exporter of hot rolled bars.[4] The company is engaged in general engineering work and manufactures iron & steel products, steel castings, steel structurals, EOT and other cranes, and various types of industrial machinery. Mukand Ltd is part of the Bajaj Groups of companies. It has India largest designed and manufactured gantry crane of 80-tonne capacity and 60-metre span, with monobox girder and underslung trolley.[5]

History

It was established in 1937 in Mumbai. It was renamed to Mukand Ltd from Mukand Iron & Steel Works Limited on March 23, 1989. The Steel Plant at Kalwa commenced operations in 1965.[1] sfs
