News Live (Assamese: নিউজ লাইভ) is a 24-hour satellite channel of Assam, India.[1] Newslivetv.org[1] is the official portal of the news channel. This is second satellite news chennal of northeast India. News Live broadcasts regional as well as national and international news and other shows in Assamese and English. It was launched on 21 January 2008.

News Live has several Bureaus across India. The bureaus are situated at Bongaigaon, New Delhi, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Nalbari, Silchar, Tezpur, Mangaldai, Diphu, Sivasagar, Dhubri, Tinsukia and five more bureaus shortly.

Assamese of the Year

"Assamese of the Year" is an annual award presented by News Live. It carries a citation and 2 lakh Indian Rupees.[2] The winner for this awards are:
