RRNA endonuclease (EC 3.1.27.10, alpha-sarcin) is an enzyme.[1] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

Hydrolysis of the phosphodiester linkage between guanosine and adenosine residues at one specific position in 28S rRNA from rat ribosomes

This enzyme also acts on bacterial rRNA.
