The Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (Romanian: Comitetul Olimpic și Sportiv Român COSR) is responsible for Romania's participation in the Olympic Games.
History
The Romanian Olympic Committee was formed in 1914 in Bucharest. In 2004 it changed the name to Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee.[1]

Member federations
The Romanian National Federations are the organizations that coordinate all aspects of their individual sports. They are responsible for training, competition and development of their sports. There are currently 28 Olympic Summer[5]. and 4 Winter[6] Sport Federations in Romania.

The COSR is present on social media, with the Press Office of the Committee running an official Facebook[7] page, as well as Twitter[8] and Instagram[9] accounts, all with the same handle @olympicromania. The COSR is also present on YouTube with its own channel.[10]
