Smilovice (Polish: Audio file "Smilowice.ogg" not found, German: Smilowitz) is a village in Frýdek-Místek District, Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic, on the Ropičanka River. It has a population of 581 (2001 census), Poles constitute 26.4% of the population.[1] It lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia. Former Prime Minister of Poland and current president of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek was born here.

From 1938 to 1939 it was part of Poland, as the Zaolzie territory. From 1939 to 1945 it was part of the Landkreis Teschen in the province of Silesia, in Nazi Germany.

The Christian festival XcamP takes place in Smilovice annually in July.
