Indigionous[edit]

The word Indigenous is obviously controversial here therefore it shall be removed. It is of little relevance and the sentence still works with out it.--Blackknight12 (talk) 08:15, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Minor Change[edit]

I had changed on Aftermath wording replacing mother tongue with native language which was bit confusion. - PrinceSulaiman (talk) 3:46 AM, June 17, 2014 (GMT)

Is this correct?[edit]

I do not have access to the sources listed, but do they really call this event "the anti-Muslim riots of 1913[1][2][3]?" It seems unlikely, but that is what the lede says. Can someone check this, Thanks, Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 15:40, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the date from "1913" to "1915" and if there is something wrong with it we can change it back. Carptrash (talk) 16:19, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Single source issue[edit]

The bulk of the 'background' and 'events' section references a single primary source Memorandum upon recent disturbances in Ceylon, who states in the introduction to his memorandum "I am instructed to emphasise the intense loyalty of the Sinhalese..." which raises further questions of bias. Some work is needed here to verify claims and introduce secondary sources. --Buyoof (talk) 03:27, 18 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
