Horses harmed?

[edit]

This article Soter Ink, suggests that many horses died during the filming of the movie, probably during the chariot race. Has this rumor ever been substantiated? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tsarevna (talkcontribs) 20:45, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Projection speed

[edit]

How many frames per second was it filmed at? And is there any way to view it, at that speed, on DVD? How about animated GIF? --Uncle Ed (talk) 22:43, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pagan Rome was at the
zenith of her power.
The tread of her iron
legion shook the world;
and from every land rose
the cries of captive
peoples — — praying for a
deliverer.

Public domain?

[edit]

Can it be noted that the film is now in the Public Domain? - 129.242.129.238 (talk) 11:15, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Why do we need a "See also" link to "List of films with a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a film review aggregator website", if the film doesn't have a 100% rating?

(It's already too bad that every film article in Wikipedia has become a RT billboard.) 2A02:AA1:1609:2AC4:652D:278F:BD0A:CCA7 (talk) 22:42, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
