Scoobs

It's been four years since this show was announced, but so far nothing seems to have come of it. Does anybody know what its current status is (cancelled, delayed production, or something of the sort)? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.3.17.179 (talk) 14:34, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Potential References

[edit]
  • The Guardian's on-line site has 30+ articles that mention Britt Allcroft (search results here) although most are likely to be the company rather than the person...

Takeover

[edit]

Britt Alcroft is booted out of the company and there's no mention of the details anywhere ... is it being skipped over? The Guardian article (http://www.pegnsean.net/~railwayseries/brittquits.htm) mentions "HIT bought ... Ms Allcroft's former company ... after a protracted takeover struggle." and "[Allcroft] ... was ousted from the day-to-day running of the company." Since these events are significant changes in Britt's life, the details should be added if anyone can find reliable sources on what happened. The pages that Britt still controls skip over any details over this change, but somebody must have written something concrete. WHY was she constantly in conflict with her co-workers? How did she manage to lose the struggle and get kicked out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.27.80.171 (talk) 05:21, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to add the appropriate information, provided you have suitable Reliable Sources...
You will want to update Gullane Entertainment at the same time, remembering that the two articles will need different subsets of information.

Another unverified death claim

[edit]

Someone purporting to be Britt's daughter is claiming she died again. The cited Facebook posting is nonexistent, and the cited CNN report is not apparent on the CNN website. The editor has not responded with a RS. On the other hand, if it really is her daughter I am sorry she is going through this. Semi-protect again? Yes that would be a good idea. ... discospinster talk 15:53, 29 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, a post on Britt's Facebook page has confirmed that she's still around. Someone has been trolling since April 2021 with a fake page. David Brooks (talk) 15:52, 30 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
