Queer issues

[edit]

I note that this article identifies queer issues as a theme in her writing, and similarly that her work does appear in an anthology of two-spirit literature; however, I cannot find an adequately reliable source to clarify whether she identifies herself as lesbian or bisexual or queer, or rather as a heterosexual ally of the LGBT community who merely includes LGBTQ themes in her writing. If there is a proper source out there to confirm that she identifies herself as LGBTQ, then it should be cited in the article and then she should be added to Category:LGBT writers from the United States, Category:LGBT Native Americans, Category:Two-spirit people if she accepts that label, and whichever one of Category:Lesbian writers, Category:Bisexual writers or Category:Queer writers most accurately fits her self-identification — and then, with the same source, she can also be added to pages such as List of LGBT writers or List of gay, lesbian or bisexual people: Sa–Sc.
