[edit]I think this page should be restored. The same info that was on the English Wikipedia is on the Swedish one. It is enough to keep the page there, yet not enough to keep it here? Not to mention she's Sweden's best known porn actress so far.

In the mean time, I have requested the deletion of the page again, as it has no content and the template you have placed on it is invalid. Happy editing! That's where I went and the guidelines said the procedure to follow, to place the template I did in the deleted article. Obviously there is something wrong with Wikipedia then, because it contradicts itself.

Thanks. I did it, but I'm having problems with one part. Can you check it, please?
Norum (talk) 14:52, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- What part are you having problems with? From my perspective you have followed the steps just fine. Foxy Loxy Pounce! 23:11, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about it, someone fixed it already.

Moved to Johanna Jussinniemi
[edit]I feel it's better to move Puma Swede to Johanna Jussiniemi just for the fact it is her birth name and that's what her passport says. If someone types Puma Swede, they will still get the right person. And Johanna Jussinniemi is definatelly not her alias.
Norum (talk) 15:19, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
- No, you have not provided any sources that it is her birth name. All sources in the article point to Puma Swede and that is the name she is notable under. There are no sources provided confirming that Johanna Jussiniemi is her birth name. Morbidthoughts (talk) 08:07, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
You think so, huh?
Norum (talk) 08:20, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- This is seriously inappropriate; it's a clear violation of BLP policy. Xihr 09:22, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
What is?
Norum (talk) 12:15, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- Please read WP:BLP. It is totally inappropriate to mention her alleged real name without reliable, third-party sources that establish it, let alone renaming the article to it. Xihr 21:41, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
If you do a google search and type her name, this is where it leads you. I have just emailed her, so I hope to get the needed confirmation soon.
Norum (talk) 08:34, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- You must find a reliable third-party source to add it in. Trying to confirm it by asking her directly is prohibited original research. Morbidthoughts (talk) 17:11, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- So it's prohibited directly from the source, yet it's ok to have that info from a third party source....where is the sense of it? Norum (talk) 19:48, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- As Morbidthoughts points out, that's original research. Wikipedia relies on verifiability, no truth, and requires reliable, third-party sources to make claims, especially when it comes to the biographies of living people where legal issues can come into play. But to elaborate, your reasoning for including it you mention above is circular. If you type the name into Google, it takes you to the Wikipedia page? But that's only because you yourself just renamed the page (and Google hadn't yet synced up to it being changed back)! By that reasoning anything you add to any article becomes "fact" because Google will pick it up, but it should be obvious that that makes no sense at all. Xihr 23:57, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- What I'm saying is that it makes no sense to rely on a third party site to confirm it, if you can get official confirmation on her website. Norum (talk) 11:31, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- It would be fine if her birthname was confirmed on her website, but an email confirmation can't be used as a source. A reader of the article needs to be able to verify that its content is correct; a reader wouldn't be able to see the email from her, or know whether it is genuinely from her, or know whether someone else has tampered with the content of her email. Epbr123 (talk) 18:38, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- What I'm saying is that it makes no sense to rely on a third party site to confirm it, if you can get official confirmation on her website. Norum (talk) 11:31, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- No worries, I'll get you an official confirmation from her and I don't mean email. Norum (talk) 21:20, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- It would surely have to be presented as an official request to Wikipedia Foundation. Though I have to say, it's hard to buy the claim that the entertainer would want her real name associated with her Wikipedia page. Xihr 10:11, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- I was just going through her blog and one of the people leaving a comment referred to her as Johanna, and she never said anything about this not being her name. I think this is pretty much clear. Norum (talk) 19:46, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that's not enough. It's certainly not proof of her surname. Even if we had proof of her name, for privacy reasons it would have to already be widely published for us to use it. If she'd wanted her name revealed, she would have put it on her website profile. Epbr123 (talk) 20:43, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Swenz
[edit]Swenz is Puma's partnership with good friend Nikki Benz(Swede + Benz = Swenz. Together they have a MySpace page [1].

Johanna Jussinniemi!
[edit]Puma Swede's real name is Johanna Jussinniemi, and she is half-Swedish and half-Finnish! Why you are all the time taking my edits away? I am right in that business. So somebody registered user can edit to Puma Swede-article that she is Swedish-Finnish pornstar. If you don't believe me, check out her websites: www.pumaswede.com
I don't understand how I have to mark my origins, but all information of her is standing on her website.
Wishes, Finnish man who is right. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.249.12.165 (talk) 17:35, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
- Please do not insert her alleged real name into the article unless you can verify it with a reliable source. As for the Swedish Finnish assertion, how is she Finnish-born if she was born in Stockholm, Sweden? Perhaps it is an issue of translation? In English, "Finnish-born" is understood to be that she was born in Finland. Morbidthoughts (talk) 17:44, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
- Her real name IS Johanna Jussinniemi. http://www.mtv3.fi/viihde/uutiset/muut.shtml/893031?swede_puma <-- that article is Finnish, and I think you can understand Finnish, but if you open that link and try to read it, you can see the name "Johanna Jussinniemi". "A famous adult movie star Johanna Jussinniemi, betterknow with her stage name Puma Swede". Finnish-born means that her lineages span to Finland, but she is born in Sweden.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.249.12.165 (talk • contribs) 15:23, June 5, 2009
- Hmmm... tossing that link through Google's language tools seems to back up the assertion regarding the name - you can read their bastardization of the text here - as it translates the key sentence as "Puma Swede artist name appears in the adult entertainment the star is also known as Johanna Jussiniemi." However, Google translates the birth place more ambiguously: "I was born and raised in Sweden. I say an American, but really I am, however, Finn. My parents were born in Finland, so I consider to be one of Sweden and Finland between." Tabercil (talk) 21:28, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

That's a known fact that she is, although born and raised in Sweden, an ethnic Finn due to the fact both of her parents are Finns who came to Sweden at one time in the 60s or 70s. She states so on her own website and this fact has been already mentioned in Wikipedia. So where exactly is the problem? It is similar situation as with Olaf Kölzig. He's German, but born and raised in South Africa because his parents are ethnic Germans who moved to SA at one time. Therefore, Kölzig is an ethnic German.
Tabercil - there is nothing about her saying she's an American. The only reference about the USA is when it says that she's been working over there for a few years.
And to the Finnish guy who is right...you are wrong, she is not half Finnish and half Swedish. If you were a Finn, you would have known that, wouldn't you? He seems to be a bit suspicious to me. Both of her parents are Finnish and it says so on her own website. I think she knows better than you do. As for the article, here's a short translation:
"Famous adult film star Puma Swede is finnish! Puma Swede is also known by the name Johanna Jussinniemi. For many it may come as a surprise that the famous adult film star Puma Swede isn’t swedish after all, but finnish. The blond beauty hasn’t been covering that at all, and she tells about her roots also in her website.
- I have been born and raised in Sweden. I say I’m swedish, but actually I’m finnish. My parents were born in Finland, so I see myself being in the somewhere middle of the Finland and Sweden. But if Sweden and Finland play ice hockey against each other, I’m on Finland’s side, she writes on her website.
The famous film star has lately been working in the USA. The curvy blond is engaged to Keiran Lee, who works in the same business."
Case closed.

Is she Swedish or is she Finnish??? There is a difference
[edit]From the article:
Johanna Jussinniemi (born September 13, 1976), better known by her stage name Puma Swede, is a Swedish pornographic actress, and feature dancer. The first part of her stage name comes from the sports car, the Ford Puma. Since 2005, she has appeared in over 150 movies.
She is of Finnish descent, as both her parents were originally from Finland.; and she has resided in California since 2004 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hobbamock (talk • contribs) 19:14, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
- And yet the lead goes for the citizenship at first, not for the descent. Living there from her birth until the beginning of her career, she's propably Swedish. In an above quote she also explains that she usually states her being Swedish. --SamWinchester000 (talk) 21:32, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

Where she currently lives
[edit]I propose deleting the following line: "and she has resided in California since 2004." I don't remember ever reading in any physical encyclopedia about where a living person lived at the time of publication of that encyclopedia within their biographical entry. I think that this could be more important after they have passed away. Since people who are still living can move to different locations & some do move into new homes quite often, this information can become irrelevant quickly & can too easily mislead people. Reading her blog entries for 2024 from her official website of pumaswede.com, it looks like she is currently living in Mexico, thus making the aforementioned line incorrect.
