As per the manual of style, standard (given name + family name) name order is always used for Japanese persons born post-Meiji (after 1868). Admin assistance is required as an old redirect already exists. DAJF (talk) 09:48, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Support - I think WP:COMMONNAME should be consulted as well as the WP:MOS-JA - policies override guidlines. However, I don't see an overwhelming predominance of usage in sources for one form or the other, so it's fine to stick with the MOS on this one. — Amakuru (talk) 12:30, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
