The result of the move request was: moved. (closed by non-admin page mover) – robertsky (talk) 14:25, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- Jan Kazimierz Sapieha the Younger → Kazimierz Jan Sapieha – He was actually called "Kazimierz Jan"(see), although sometimes used "Jan Kazimierz", nonetheless he never was called "the Younger", especially since he is actually older than Jan Kazimierz Sapieha the Elder, who was his nephew. Marcelus (talk) 07:44, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- Jan Kazimierz Sapieha the Elder → Jan Kazimierz Sapieha – By analogy to move request on Kazimierz Jan Sapieha, he wasn't "the Elder" but actually Younger than his uncle. Marcelus (talk) 07:46, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- Administrator note I copied the second move from Special:PermaLink/1102278594 to avoid split discussions. Primefac (talk) 19:22, 4 August 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. The existing main title headers are indeed incorrect. The correct names, as indicated in the nomination, can be seen via the interwiki links from Polish Wikipedia — Jan Kazimierz Sapieha the Younger (English Wikipedia) = Kazimierz Jan Sapieha (Polish Wikipedia) and, regarding the second part of the nomination, Jan Kazimierz Sapieha the Elder (English Wikipedia) = Jan Kazimierz Sapieha (Polish Wikipedia). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 07:35, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- Support both. I note that one of these articles has no references whatsoever, the other has one only and that one is not in English. So while Polish Wikipedia is not the best possible guide to say the least we have nothing better. The current titles are sufficiently confusing to be appalling even if supported by references, and there is no such support. The move histories of the pages are even worse. This proposed move may not be the last word but it will definitely improve Wikipedia. Andrewa (talk)
- Support. I trust the nom did his reasearch, and the user who created the first article in 2006 or so and called him "Younger" is no longer active, nor did they provide any sources. Pl wiki doesn't use "Younger". --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 12:55, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
