Herring roe mainly
[edit]I question the wisdom of usurping "kazunoko" for a gamer person's article, when the word is certainly recognized first-off as food item (herring roe) by 99.9% of the Japanese populace.
In comparison, the impressionist/comic personality Korokke, who is a household name in Japan, has his article in Japan under ja:コロッケ (タレント) ("Korroke (talent)")and does not usurp the title of the food article korokke ("croquette"). --Kiyoweap (talk) 23:23, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- The primary subject can be different in Japan compared to the English-speaking world, that's fine. Sorry I missed this move discussion. I'm pretty neutral on the change; I was wholly unfamiliar with the fish. I feel a headnote on the article would've been alright too. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 10:54, 18 January 2024 (UTC)
