– There isn't a PTOPIC between these two rivers, but how on earth do we disambiguate these? Clyde [trout needed] 22:42, 31 October 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. Jenks24 (talk) 11:48, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- I'm having difficulty tracing these rivers at all :( Also I wonder if Khari River and Khari River, Rajasthan are the same thing. Sohom (talk) 13:35, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment. Why does the Khari River, Rajasthan article claim it's in Gujarat rather than Rajasthan? If this is correct, then Khari River (Rajasthan) can be left as it is and this one actually needs to be disambiguated with Khari River. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:45, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- I have wondered the same as well, but the original creator seems unresponsive (I have asked them if Khari_River_(Rajasthan) and Khari_River,_Rajasthan were created errenously and are the same river). I personally find the possibility of three rivers in the same overall location being named the same name incredibly unlikely. :( Sohom (talk) 22:09, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment There are many rivers named Khari in India, four of which are located in Rajasthan. The first Khari river is a tributary of the Jawai River, originating from Sirohi and joining the Jawai River in Jalore. The second Khari river is a tributary of the Banas, originating from Rajsamand and joining the Banas River in the Tonk district. The third Khari river originates from Jaipur and joins Sambhar Lake in Rajsamand. The fourth Khari river, originating from Pali district, is a tributary of the Bandi, which itself is a tributary of the Luni.[1]I hope this helps. – DreamRimmer (talk) 05:08, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- Ah, okay, but so how do we disambiguate between them ? Sohom (talk) 12:38, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
- I believe that Khari River, Rajasthan, Khari River (Rajasthan), and Khari River refer to the same river. According to this source[2], Khari is a tributary of the West Banas River, originating from the Aravalli hills in Sirohi district. It flows in a southwestern direction through Rajasthan and passes through Banaskantha and Mehsana districts in Gujarat before draining into the Little Rann of Kachchh. The page Khari River (Rajasthan) focuses on Khari when it flows in Sirohi, Rajasthan, the second page Khari River, Rajasthan is about Khari when it flows in Banaskatha, Gujarat, and the third page Khari River is about Khari when it flows in Kachchh. It appears to be the same river but referred to differently based on the states and districts it traverses. I propose merging all content into Khari River. – DreamRimmer (talk) 15:43, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
