Not a very notable event. 75.8.47.177 23:00, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A police shooting of an unarmed person is a VERY notable event. I'd like to know the races involved. Racism is definitely a factor in police shootings. Sean Bell, Amadou Diallo anyone? ClintJCL (talk) 16:58, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can give you an EMS perspective on this. I was doing rescue breathing for him in the ER. This was a legitimate effort to save the young man’s life and his death affected peoples attitude. I’ve never seen people try to save a life harder than his. The nurses and doctors really do deserve the utmost respect for the effort they put in and the heartbreaking moment his mother found out he had passed. No one ever talks about the person who has to pass that information on. Woodhull hospital gets a harsh reputation but the people who worked there were the hardest working people ive met. Someone should acknowledge them? 2601:1C2:1201:3260:D461:6187:4F54:69DB (talk) 09:25, 20 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
