Help work on article

[edit]

This article is content I'm not particularly interested in related to strip clubs, but would be good to document since the article I am working on regularly links a section to it. As I find things that look relevant I'll put them in the to do section. Are there any legal types out there that help work on getting this article built out? Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Legal status of striptease. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose that Strip club ban in Iceland be merged into Legal status of striptease. The content in the former article (which is a stub) it to some extent already contained in the latter; the rest could be easily added. The former's title is not of the standard format, making it hard to find (it probably should have been called "Legal status of striptease in Iceland" but there are no other "Legal status of striptease in..." articles, so even that would not be standard). Legal status of stripteaseLegality of striptease – Several different formats exist for the titles of articles regarding the legality of a particular thing. I believe that all of these should be consistent with each other and that that format should be "Legality of X" (instead of "Legal status of X, Laws regarding X, etc.) Others have noted that "legality" is a more common term when referring to whether something is legal or illegal than "legal status". The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

@41.114.128.168 Wikipedia may not be censored, but it is also not pornography. This article is solely about the legal status, not the striptease itself. Can you explain to me how adding pictures to this page would make Wikipedia a better encyclopedia? Jacobacademy (talk) 19:09, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
