I would love to see a sortable Area column added to the list. Don't know how to do it myself, thanks.Armandtanzarian (talk) 20:12, 10 January 2014 (UTC)

Too many on the list[edit]

The list needs to be edited. The list includes various geographic entities that are not municipalities. New Jersey has 566 municipalities (the list is longer).

Titusville missing[edit]

FYI: Titusville is missing from the list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 18:06, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

The Borough of Princeton and Princeton Township have united and are no longer separate. --Cessator (talk) 02:30, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

The vote happened but the merger does not take effect until 2013. Until then, they remain separate municipalities. NJZombie (talk) 20:48, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Date of incorporation?[edit]

Is there any possibility of adding a new column to this table that listed the date that the city, town, borough or township was founded? I was surprised to find out how long ago the town I visited was founded and was curious to know what the oldest towns in New Jersey were. Liz Read! Talk! 18:07, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
