clarification required

Someone needs to clarify the following line in the article.

"...for Marine Harvest, recognized that his company was using too many antibiotics in Chile and that fish pens where too close, contributing to the disemination of the ISA virus"

How do antibiotics contribute to the disemination of a virus? Antibiotics are used for bacterial infections/diseases. I'd agree that fish pens being too close would contribute, but it doesn't make sense that antibiotics would do this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mpbio (talk • contribs) 14:32, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
