Jalna novel lacking in Published Works

Jalna novel lacking in Published Works.--Revery (talk) 16:18, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, it's there within the list of the books in the series. DoubleBlue (Talk) 23:18, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correct name capitalization

[edit]

According to the Library of Congress, the name should be Mazo De la Roche, and not Mazo de la Roche or Mazo de La Roche.
Copy of the Library of Congress authority :

  • LC Control Number: n 50040407
  • LC Class Number: PR9199.3.D42
  • HEADING: De la Roche, Mazo, 1879-1961
  • Used For/See From:
  • La Roche, Mazo de, 1879-1961
  • Roche, Mazo de la, 1879-1961
  • De La Roche, Mazo, 1885-1961 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Poulit (talkcontribs) 09:02, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If so, the Library of Congress got it wrong. She signed her own name as Mazo de la Roche, which you can see here:

According to the head stone at Sibbald Point Cemetery...

[edit]

MAZO DE LA ROCHE was born in 1888, not 1879. Is the headstone inscribed incorrectly? Did I photograph the wrong one?

See attached image, taken this past Monday, by me.

In the documentary " The Mystery of Mazo de la Roche," it is mentioned that Caroline Clement had their birthdays switched on the gravestones. Clement is buried beside her. No explanation was offered for the switch. 99.245.230.105 (talk) 04:33, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

LGBT categories

[edit]

We need something in the article to support these categorisations. There is nothing about her sexuality, only a half-allusion to one of her characters having very vague whiffs of gayness. That's not her. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 06:21, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why Mazo?

[edit]

The name Mazo is a bit unusual, any info on it's origin? Feldercarb (talk) 00:02, 29 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

There's a Swedish pulp sci-fi novel called "The Cruelty of Mazo", not sure if it may have taken some of its inspiration from her. :) 83.254.135.176 (talk) 23:51, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
