Alternative derivation of Merrythought name
[edit]Although not mentioned in the narrative of the article, I am aware (by hearsay going back to 1980) that a Merry family (who had relatives living in Minsterley, Shropshire) were involved in the firm but I have no published source to quote. The family were around before the wishbone trademark was adopted by the firm.(One of course has to rule out local gossip putting this and that together.)Cloptonson (talk) 08:31, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
