Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.
This article (for now) shows only US and UK details, therefore I'm Globalize tagging it accordingly. My last tagging was reverted because I didn't comment it here, so I'm doing it now: Just because this article is incomplete, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be tagged as geographically imbalanced!
